Community we Support

The Miani – Girls Homecenter supports young orphaned women located in Sri Lanka. In May, SurfBreak will be travelling, covering 900 km by tuk-tuk, to collect experiences, emotions, and fragments of life. The donations collected, together with the documentary, will be our main tools aimed at supporting this reality. Miani Nagar takes care of girls from 6 to 18 years old, and from then on tries to finance as many study opportunities as possible (at the cost of 45 EUR/month per person). It is precisely here that we at SurfBreak (together with you) believe we can do something.

Our dedicated team of video-makers, content creators, and SurfBreakers is currently navigating the vibrant landscapes of Sri Lanka, capturing the essence of life as they journey 900 km. We are on our way to meet the incredible Miani Nagar community around May 6th–8th, ready to deliver the donations we've gratefully received so far — both tangible and financial.
